If you are looking for more than just a birth…

this is your path to a meaningful, supported & sacred experience.

Meet your doula

I’m Haley Foulkes a DONA-trained birth doula, Reiki Level 2 practitioner, and breathwork guide. I’m currently pregnant with my first child and on my own journey into motherhood, which has only deepened my calling to support others through the sacred and transformative experience of birth.

After spending years as a merchant mariner, I felt a powerful shift in my heart. I chose to leave that career to fully step into birth work and support families of all sizes, shapes, and colors through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’m in a loving, supportive partnership with my fiancé Ryan, and together we’re preparing to welcome our baby earthside.

I’m an artistic, fun-loving, and high-spirited person at heart, but also grounded and calm, which allows me to hold space for others in vulnerable, beautiful moments. I care deeply about mental health and emotional well-being, and I believe that every birthing person deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered.

My approach is intuitive, nurturing, and centered on you. I’m here to amplify the delicate, honor the sacred, and walk beside you every step of the way.

A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, informational, and spiritual support to individuals and families before, during, and after childbirth. Unlike a medical provider, a doula is not responsible for clinical care. Instead, they focus entirely on the well-being, comfort, and empowerment of the birthing person and their family.

Doulas offer a calming, grounding presence, helping families navigate the emotional and physical intensity of birth with greater confidence, clarity, and connection. Hiring a doula can make a profound difference in the birth experience. Families often report:

  • Feeling more supported and empowered

  • Reduced fear and anxiety during labor

  • Improved communication with medical providers

  • Lower rates of medical interventions such as C- sections.

  • Higher satisfaction with their birth experience

  • Smoother emotional recovery postpartum

Doulas also support partners in helping them feel confident in their role, offering guidance, and ensuring everyone in the room feels cared for.

Ultimately, a doula is there to hold space, amplify your voice, and walk alongside you so you never feel alone, unheard, or uncertain on one of life’s most transformational journeys.

But what is a doula & why do I want one?

Before we begin this journey together, I offer a free 30-minute to 1-hour Zoom call so we can get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.

This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can:

• Share a bit about your pregnancy and birth intentions

• Ask questions about my doula services, philosophy, and support style

• Learn how I work with families and what support could look like for you

Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for both of us to feel out the connection—because doula support is deeply personal, and finding the right fit matters.

There’s no charge, no commitment—just a genuine, heart-centered chat to see if we align.

As a doula, I lead with intuition, kindness, and a deep commitment to making my clients feel safe, seen, and heard. My presence is calm and grounding. I’m someone who knows how to hold space with quiet strength, compassion, and care. I believe birth is not only physical but emotional and spiritual, and I bring that awareness into every interaction.

What do clients love about me?

I center each client’s voice and choices, honoring their individuality and guiding them with gentle support rather than direction. I trust my intuitive and spiritual nature to help navigate the energy of each unique birth space, offering encouragement, clarity, and peace during even the most intense moments.

What makes me unique is my ability to create a sacred, judgment-free space where people feel truly empowered in their birthing experience. I’m not just there to support the birth. I’m there to support you.
